Teaching, Learning and Evaluation

The Department adopts several strategic ways to engage students such as group talks, argumentative debates, students lecture, quiz, elocution in our teaching methods. Though the department mostly uses the chalk and talk method, for some courses such as grammar, linguistics, metrics etc. power-point presentations are prepared for better understanding of our students. Faculty members have also prepared E-content for uploading to the Knimbus Digital library of the institution to enable learning at any time at any pace. The evaluation methods involve using rubrics and also following bloom’s taxonomy to frame questions. The department also has an effective mentor-mentee mechanism to cater to the needs of the students as and when required.
